这!就是街舞 – This ! is Street Dance ! produced by Youku Wang Yibo, a very inspiring idol! It is with great emotion and joy that I speak to you about the world of Street Dance through the life of WANG Yibo ❤️ He has become my idol. He has an incredible personality. He is very inspiring to me: he encourages me to be myself. I discovered him in the drama “The Untamed” which I really liked. I also watched the entertainment show Day Day Up《天天向上》where he is one of the 4-5 presenters (from 2016 to 2021). I had good times with them. Over the years, they all became brothers at heart. It’s…

Music by Lindsey Stirling
Just because you’re a violinist doesn’t mean that you have to play classical music; just because you’re maybe shaped differently doesn’t mean you can’t be a dancer. I want to live my life in a way that boxes don’t exist and boundaries don’t have to be there. So I hope that people can see that through my music; it’s about being fresh, being innovative, and making it fun again. Because I lost my love of it for a little bit, and I wanted it back. I wanted to love it again. Source interview at Violinist.com It was Mimi who introduced me to this beautiful artist, a talented violinist and dancer.…

The Phantom of the Opera: the musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber (1986)
I share with you my crush on this musical by Andrew Lloyd where I find the voice of his ex-wife Sarah Brightman sublime, angelic and enchanting! Angel of Music Phantom of the Opera All the voices are beautiful and it thrills me. Through the English lyrics (thanks to the CD booklet) I could therefore roughly know the tragic story of this ghost of the opera. It was only after the 1990 TV film was released on television in Tahiti that I was able to savor this beautiful love story. It made me want to go to the Opera, to go to France to see Garnier’s Opera even though I knew…

Die Antwoord
A friend of mine is a fan of this South African band Die Antwoord, which I didn’t know at all. It was a surprising discovery! The band is made up of artists Ninja, Yolandi Visser and God DJ Hi-Tek. I liked their crazy musical universe right away! Yolandi’s small and childish voice contrasts well with Ninja’s trashy lyrics, forming a nice duo! It’s an extravagant, whimsical, surprising and very disturbing universe. Baby’s on Fire clip The first clip I saw was Baby’s on Fire and I was mesmerized by a very original and special visual. I love those little details that caught my attention while listening to the lyrics. Nothing…

Chinese music from the 70s, 80s, 90s
I often listen to this youtube channel which offers compilations of random Chinese music from the 70s, 80s, 90s from Taiwan. Some of the songs move me and make me feel very nostalgic about my “old time” pleasures related to my life in Tahiti and Taiwan. It calms me to listen to them because they are always full of emotions, they talk about love, joys and heartaches. The lyrics are very beautiful. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCFHoFHi3-_lh030g7VRLipg My favorite songs 我的唇吻不到我愛的人 “My lips cannot kiss the one I love” 我的好兄弟 “My good brother (friend)” 谁在意我留下的泪 “Who cares about my flowing tears” 没有你陪伴真的好孤单 “Without you by my side I feel so alone” What about you?…

Aldebert, Childhood
I didn’t know this artist Aldebert until Mimi brought us a singing homework assignment in 6th grade. It’s “I’m afraid of the dark”. It is Teddy who takes care of having it revised. I like the chorus a lot, but I just have to sing “I’m afraid of the dark” with a depressing air ! I found it very hard to sing, it’s so wordy and catchy ! In the clip below, I discover the singer Elodie Frégé who accompanies Aldebert. I like the voice of this singer, I had watched the Star Academy show just to hear her sing. Song “J’ai peur du noir” (I’m afraid of the dark) The lyrics…
